To help you check before contacting your referring healthcare professional, here are our current NHS AQP referral criteria:
- You must be registered with a GP based in Cornwall.
- We can only treat neck pain, back pain, and neck-related headaches on the NHS.
- Only one referral per patient, per condition, per year can be accepted.
- The condition must be of recent onset, or a recent aggravation, within the last 6 months.
- We're happy to see pregnant patients, but we cannot accept a referral after 35 weeks of pregnancy (we can continue treating beyond 35 weeks if you're already under our care).
- There must be no medical red flags present, as assessed by your referring healthcare professional as part of the referral.
- You must be 16 years of age or over.
